The main town Plaka is located on a hill at an altitude of 220m near Castro fortress. From the direction of Plaka, there is a wonderful and picturesque view on Milos Bay!

Magical Plaka has kept its traditional architecture with a recognizable Cycladic style. 

Narrow cobbled streets and white houses with colored windows, charming churches and picturesque squares surrounded by flowers and Bougainvillea. Colorful at every step!

You should walk through the streets and squares and enjoy in the magical surroundings, enjoy in the fantastic view on Milos Bay! All those wonderful pictures will be remembered by the visitor as a perfect visual experience!

Plaka has many traditional shops and taverns that fit perfectly with the traditional environment and give additional charm to this magical and picturesque place.

You should try the fantastic local food, which is true gastronomic perfection and provides bliss for the palate and senses! For every recommendation!

In Plaka there is Panagia Korfiatisa, the metropolitan church of Milos, which was built in 1820. in the Byzantine-Cycladic style.

On the hill above Plaka there is the Castro fortress built by the Venetians in the 13th century and at the very top the Mesa Panagia church and a little lower Panagia Thalasitra church.

Ideal place to enjoy and to take pictures. From there is a magnificent 360-degree view on Plaka, the entire bay and Milos that takes your breath away and is remembered for a lifetime!

Sarakiniko looks like the surface of the Moon with white rocks and turquoise blue sea.

Turquoise-blue shallow water with colorful volcanic rocks in the background!

The diversity of the beach with fine golden-yellow sand, fine pebbles and colorful stones! One gets the impression that there are more beaches!

On the beach there is an exceptional beach-bar Loco for chill-out!

There is also a part where you can be completely alone.

An unusual beach that can be reached by descending with the help of a ladder and a rope down a steep cliff through a hole in the rock!
