Seductive & charming Chora
The Chora capital is located on the hill above the port in the southwest of the island. The position of Chora position allows an amazing view on the surrounding area and the blue sea.
Charming Chora is a small village, traditional Cycladic architecture with white painted houses and narrow streets adorned with gorgeous Bougainvillea and flowers. The picturesque setting is spiced up by churches and windmills.

Sifneiko bay
This location is followed by the untouched landscape of Sifneiko Bay with great turquoise blue and wonderful greenery.
Isolated location with demanding access for lovers of natural surroundings, swimming and diving!



Messaria
A small village surrounded by vineyards and gardens, located about 2 km northeast from Chora. In village there is a beautiful Evangelistria church. Picturesque windmills can be visited on the surrounding hills.

Schinoussa beaches
When you start from Chora on foot along the coast towards the eastern side and all the way to the northeastern Psili Ammos beach, the following beaches appear in order:⤵
Tsigouri
Tsigouri is the closest beach to the capital and is located 600m from Chora.
A nice wide sandy beach with shallow crystal-clear water and numerous tamarisk trees providing shade. An excellent choice for families with children.
Next to the beach is a tavern with excellent local food and a wonderful view on the bay and small islands, as well as the Iraklia island.
After Tsigouri beach, there is a cove where the small pebble Portokali beach is located.



Livadi
A beautiful peaceful cove with sand and small pebbles and clear water, surrounded by tall trees with plenty of shade. The beach offers a lovely view on the Iraklia island.
Behind the beach, there is a tavern where you can try good local food.
After Livadi beach comes the Agios Vassilios peninsula, with a few small coves accessible only by boat, as a fenced private property lies in between, where entry is not allowed!



Aligaria bay
When you go around the peninsula, on the other side you can see the gorgeous Aligaria Bay, where are 3 beaches.
The first is the small beach called Santoriniiko (Aligaria 1) which is located at the beginning of the peninsula and is accessible from the sea because of the fence.
Next is Dimiti Gagavi beach, surrounded by rocks and stone slabs at the entrance to the water.



Aligaria Kampos
Aligaria Kampos is the last of the 3 beaches in Aligaria Bay.
A great sandy beach surrounded by rocks with wonderful turquoise transparent water.
The pristine landscape and crystal-clear sea are ideal for swimming and diving enthusiasts.



Lioliou
Lioliou is a wonderful beach with fine yellow sand and crystal-clear turquoise water.
An excellent choice for relaxing and enjoying in the irresistible exotic ambiance.
Suitable for children due to the shallow water and trees in the background that offer shade.



Bazeou & Pori
In the same bay there are 2 more beaches: Bazeou and Pori.
After Lioliou is a small beach Bazeou, with fine pebbles and stone slabs at the entrance to the water.
Next is the interesting small beach Pori, surrounded by rocks with a cave that provides shade and numerous rocks in the water ideal for underwater activities.


Almyros
After the peninsula comes Almyros, a sandy beach with beautiful crystal-clear water.
It consists of 2 parts separated by rocks. It is exposed to the northern wind, so there can be waves when the Meltemi wind blows.
It is followed by the narrow Fountana beach, with numerous rocks on the beach and at the water’s edge.



Papa T’ Avlaki
Just before Psili Ammos beach, in a small picturesque bay is the excellent Papa T’ Avlaki beach, surrounded by rocks with wonderful turquoise water.
It is connected by a path that goes along the coast with the most beautiful Psili Ammos beach.



Gerolimnionas & Fikio
After the village of Messaria in the northern part of the island, there are 2 isolated and secluded beaches: Gerolimnionas & Fikio.
Gerolimnionas is a beautiful sandy beach in a picturesque bay with gorgeous crystal-clear water, perfect for swimming and snorkeling.
The isolated location is ideal for those seeking complete privacy and enjoyment in untouched nature!
Fikio is a small isolated beach with trees and stone slabs in the water.
