An interesting anecdote about Sifnos ⏩ Famous director Emir Kusturica was shooting the French film Pelikan Nicostratos (2011) on Milos and Sifnos and was so delighted with Sifnos that he bought a house on Faros beach. The locals appreciate him very much and when they heard that I’m from Serbia, they mentioned him with respect!
